The purpose of story time is to provide children who are not in school an opportunity to socialize with other children and to develop a love of reading. It is also an opportunity for parents to interact with other parents and to acquaint their children with the library.

- Story Time Where: Fannie Brown Booth Library-Redditt Room When: Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. Who: All preschool age children are invited. What: Story time is conducted either by Sandra Davis, Library Director, or a guest reader. The children listen to a story and complete a hands on activity designed to reinforce the story. The purpose of story time is to provide children who are not in school an opportunity to socialize with other children and to develop a love of stories. It is also an opportunity for parents to interact with other parents and to acquaint their children with the library.
