Texas Book Festival Grant Award
Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library wins 2023 Texas Book Festival Grant Award
We are pleased to announce that our Library has been awarded a 2023 Texas Book Festival Grant for the purpose of increasing our collections. We applied for this grant in April and were notified that we received the award this month. We are planning to buy books for our senior citizens in areas that are of concern to them. We are also planning to buy Spanish-English books and other books in Spanish to increase our Spanish collection and hopefully increase our presence in the Spanish-speaking population of our county. Look for upcoming information opportunities for these populations to learn more about the new books that will be available.
