Fannie Brown Booth Library Receives Tocker Foundation Grant

 The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library was recently notified that it has received a $100,000 Library Transformation grant from the Tocker Foundation of Austin, TX. This grant has been in the works for some time, beginning in 2020, canceled because of Covid, and restarted in 2023. It has been a year-long process. The library has been in the same location for 50 years, and in honor of our 50th anniversary, we are proud to begin the process of remodeling, the first significant remodel in those 50 years. Other funders and local groups are contributing to the project.
